You may be here because you are also a Bungalow Fanatic like I am. I gradually fell in love with Craftsman Bungalows as I grew up, but the first time I recognized it was when I moved to Southern California to become a Japanese tour guide, about the time I met the love of my life, Rocio. I found that I was drawn to these homes, to the detail, the simplicity and the history. The fact that some of them were extremely dilapidated, did not turn me away like it did some of my friends. As I drove around the neighborhoods of Pasadena, I started seeing patterns, especially that they all had a lot of exposed wood. I could not put my finger on why exactly, I just knew I loved the homes!
Now, almost 15 years later, I have decided to start this site on bungalow homes, and since I live in Dallas, I don't always have the opportunity to see the old neighborhoods. However thanks to modern technology, we can all enjoy Bungalows, even if we don't live in the bungalow Mecca of Southern CA.
